Your Guizhou journey begins with a comfortable pickup from your hotel, airport, or train station in Guiyang. The drive takes around 1.5–2 hours, and along the way, you'll see Guizhou's landscape gradually change from urban streets to green mountains, valleys, and traditional villages.

Your first destination is Huangguoshu Waterfall, the natural masterpiece that put Guizhou on the map. Known as one of China's largest waterfalls, Huangguoshu is not only impressive because of its size but also because of the different ways you can experience it.

As you enter the scenic area, you'll gradually hear the powerful sound of falling water before the waterfall appears in front of you. Standing at the main viewing platform, you'll see the massive curtain of water dropping from the limestone cliffs, surrounded by green mountains and rising mist. Their descendants have preserved unique traditions, architecture, and customs until today. Walking through the stone-paved lanes, you'll see traditional stone houses built with thick walls, narrow pathways, and defensive designs that reflect the village's military origins. The quiet atmosphere makes it feel like stepping back into another era. You may also have the chance to see local performances such as Tunbao Dixi (ground opera), a rare folk art that combines storytelling, masks, and traditional music.

After exploring the village, your private vehicle will transfer you to your hotel in Anshun. Staying overnight here allows you to relax after a full day of sightseeing and prepares you for tomorrow's Dragon Palace adventure.

After breakfast at your hotel in Anshun, your driver will pick you up and begin today's journey. 

Your morning visit takes you to Dragon Palace Cave (Longgong Cave), one of Guizhou's most impressive karst landscapes. Different from traditional caves where visitors simply walk through tunnels, Dragon Palace offers a unique experience combining boat rides, underground rivers, and spectacular limestone formations. As you slowly travel along the clear underground waterway, you'll pass through naturally formed chambers decorated with stalactites and stalagmites created over millions of years. The cave's mysterious atmosphere is why locals compare it to the legendary palace of the Dragon King. The reflections on the water, quiet underground passages, and dramatic rock formations create a completely different feeling from the open landscape of Huangguoshu Waterfall. After lunch, your private car will take you back to Guiyang. Your first city stop is Jiaxiu Pavilion, one of Guiyang's most iconic cultural landmarks. Take a leisurely walk around the pavilion, enjoy the riverside views, and discover how this historic building has remained an important symbol of Guiyang through centuries of change.

Continue to Qianling Park, a favorite destination for locals and one of the best places to experience everyday Guiyang life. The park combines lush forests, mountain trails, temples, and wildlife. Walking along the paths, you'll often see local residents practicing Tai Chi, exercising, or enjoying peaceful afternoons surrounded by nature. One of the park's most famous residents is the group of playful macaques living in the area. Their clever behavior and unexpected appearances often bring plenty of fun moments, but our team will also share tips to help you enjoy the experience safely.

If time allows, you can also visit Hongfu Temple, a peaceful Buddhist temple hidden among the mountains, where you can enjoy beautiful views over Guiyang.
