Prices vary depending on group size, hotel standards, and how you'd like to tailor your itinerary.
Your day begins with private pickup from your hotel or Jinan railway station, depending on your arrival arrangements. Meet your driver and head into the center of Jinan, where the city's famous spring-water culture quickly becomes part of the scenery.
Start at Daming Lake, one of Jinan's best-known landmarks and one of the city's Three Great Scenic Spots. The lake is fed by underground springs, creating a landscape of open water, willow trees, traditional pavilions and old city views.
Take a relaxed walk along the lakeside paths and enjoy the changing scenery. Rather than rushing from one photo stop to another, you'll have time to appreciate why Daming Lake is often described as the "Pearl of the Spring City." From here, continue toward the historic neighborhood around Baihuazhou, where the atmosphere becomes noticeably more local.
Baihuazhou is part of Jinan's historic Mingfu City area, where waterways, old residences and traditional streets create a quieter side of the city. Walk beside the water and look for the details that make this neighborhood special—willows leaning over the canals, seasonal flowers, old-style buildings and small bridges connecting the lanes. This is also a good place to slow down for a while. Jinan's famous saying "every household has a spring, every home has willow trees" feels much more tangible here than it does on a sightseeing checklist. As you leave Baihuazhou, the waterways gradually lead you deeper into the old city.
Continue on foot to Qushuiting Street, one of the most atmospheric streets in central Jinan. The street connects several of the city's key historic areas, including Daming Lake, Baihuazhou, Wangfu Pool and Furong Street. Instead of feeling like a conventional tourist attraction, Qushuiting Street offers a glimpse of how spring water has shaped everyday life in Jinan. Follow the narrow lanes beside the water, watch the small streams flowing through the neighborhood and enjoy the contrast between old residences and modern city life.
Continue to Wangfu Pool, also known as Zhuoying Spring, part of the Pearl Spring group. The clear spring water and surrounding old neighborhood make this one of the more intimate stops on the route. From here, walk onward toward the next major highlight—the spring that has become almost synonymous with Jinan itself.
Continue to Baotu Spring, the most famous spring in Jinan and one of the city's Three Great Scenic Spots. The spring is the centerpiece of Baotu Spring Park, where three streams of spring water rise from the ground and feed a clear pool surrounded by traditional gardens, pavilions and greenery. Take your time walking through the park and viewing the spring from different angles.
Baotu Spring has long been regarded as the leader among Jinan's 72 famous springs. During his southern inspection tour, the Qianlong Emperor was particularly impressed by the quality of the spring water and famously praised it as the "No. 1 Spring Under Heaven."After exploring the park, take a short walk toward the commercial heart of the old city.
Leave Baotu Spring behind and stroll along Quancheng Road, one of Jinan's main central streets. The surroundings gradually shift from traditional spring neighborhoods to a livelier urban atmosphere, giving you a nice contrast between old and modern Jinan.
Continue to Quancheng Square, a major landmark in the city center. The square is surrounded by important cultural and commercial areas and has long been one of Jinan's most recognizable public spaces. Take a short break here, enjoy the open city views and watch local life unfold around the square. It is also a convenient point to connect the historic spring district with the final stop of the day.
Finish your sightseeing at Black Tiger Spring, one of Jinan's famous 72 springs and the leading spring of the Black Tiger Spring group. Unlike the enclosed setting of Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring has a more open and lively atmosphere. The spring water flows through the stone outlets beneath the city wall area, and you can often see locals filling bottles or containers with spring water.
Take a final walk beside the spring and watch the water flowing through the old city. After a full day of exploring Jinan's lakes, springs, waterways and historic streets, this is a fitting place to end the sightseeing portion of the trip.
After the visit to Black Tiger Spring, your private vehicle will take you back to your hotel or Jinan railway station according to your onward travel plans. Whether you're staying overnight in Jinan or continuing by high-speed train, the private transfer makes the end of the day simple and stress-free.
