Meal: Beijing to Qufu by High-Speed Train
Your tour starts in the morning at Beijing South Railway Station. Take the high-speed train G197 (08:12–10:26) to Qufu East Railway Station. The journey takes around 2 hours, offering a comfortable and efficient way to travel from Beijing to Confucius' hometown. Upon arrival, your local driver will meet you and transfer you to Qufu downtown to begin your cultural exploration.
Explore Confucius Cemetery (Kong Lin)
Start your Qufu tour at Confucius Cemetery (Kong Lin), the final resting place of Confucius and generations of his descendants. Covering a vast area with ancient trees, historical tombs, and stone carvings, Kong Lin provides a peaceful atmosphere to learn about the long-lasting legacy of the Confucius family and traditional Chinese burial culture.
Lunch in Qufu
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and try traditional Qufu cuisine, including specialties inspired by the famous Confucian family dishes (Kong Fu Cuisine).
