If you arrive early and would like to explore, we recommend visiting Jiaxiu Pavilion and Cuiwei Garden, two charming cultural landmarks located in the heart of Guiyang.

Built during the Ming Dynasty, Jiaxiu Pavilion is one of Guiyang's most recognizable landmarks and a symbol of the city. Standing on a rock in the Nanming River, this elegant wooden pavilion has witnessed hundreds of years of local history. Take a relaxing walk along the riverside, admire the traditional architecture, and enjoy the contrast between the historic pavilion and the modern city skyline around it. In the evening, when the lights illuminate the pavilion and reflect on the river, the atmosphere becomes especially beautiful.

Located next to Jiaxiu Pavilion, Cuiwei Garden offers a quieter experience away from the busy streets. The garden combines traditional Chinese architecture, peaceful courtyards, and cultural details that reflect the classical style of Guizhou. It is a lovely place to slow down after your arrival, take photos, and enjoy a peaceful introduction to Guiyang's history and culture.

After sightseeing, you can explore nearby streets and try some local Guizhou specialties. Guiyang is famous for its bold and unique flavors, especially sour, spicy, and fermented dishes. After breakfast, your private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Guiyang and start the journey to Anshun, a city surrounded by spectacular karst landscapes and home to some of Guizhou's most famous natural attractions. The drive takes around 1.5–2 hours. Along the way, you will gradually leave the city behind and enter the mountainous countryside, where green hills, rivers, and traditional villages reveal the unique scenery of Guizhou.

Today, you will explore three different sides of Guizhou's water landscapes — the wide and peaceful Doupotang Waterfall, the elegant karst scenery of Tianxingqiao, and the magnificent Huangguoshu Waterfall.

Your first stop is Doupotang Scenic Area, located upstream from Huangguoshu Waterfall. Although it is less famous than its neighbor, Doupotang has its own unique charm. The waterfall stretches across a wide riverbed, creating a spectacular curtain of water flowing over the rocks. During the rainy season, the powerful water flow creates a dramatic scene, while in drier seasons, the gentle river landscape offers a more peaceful atmosphere. Take a relaxing walk along the viewing platforms and enjoy the fresh mountain air before continuing to the next destination.

Continue to Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, where you will experience a completely different side of Guizhou's karst landscape. Unlike the grand scale of Huangguoshu, Tianxingqiao is more about delicate natural beauty. The walking route takes you through limestone peaks, clear streams, stone bridges, forests, and unique rock formations shaped by thousands of years of geological changes.

One of the highlights is the famous "Number Stones", where naturally arranged stones represent the days of the year. Walking through this area feels like exploring a natural garden carefully designed by nature itself. Our team will arrange the walking route according to your pace, allowing enough time for photos and enjoying the scenery without rushing.

In the afternoon, continue to the highlight of today's journey — Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of China's most iconic natural landmarks and the largest waterfall in China. Standing in front of the waterfall, you can truly feel its incredible power as water plunges down from the 77-meter-high cliff into the valley. The sound of rushing water, the mist in the air, and the surrounding green mountains create an unforgettable atmosphere.

One of the most special experiences is walking through the Water Curtain Cave, where you can view the waterfall from behind the falling water. When sunlight passes through the mist, you may even catch a beautiful rainbow above the valley. To make your visit smoother, our team will plan the best route and timing based on weather and visitor conditions, helping you enjoy the most impressive viewpoints while avoiding unnecessary waiting.

After exploring Huangguoshu Waterfall, your private vehicle will transfer you to your hotel in Anshun. After breakfast, meet your driver at the hotel and begin today's journey back toward the Guiyang area before heading east to Fanjingshan.

Your first stop is Qingyan Ancient Town, one of Guizhou's most charming historical towns. Built during the Ming Dynasty, Qingyan was originally a military fortress and later developed into an important cultural town along ancient trade routes. As you walk through the stone-paved streets, you will discover traditional houses, old city walls, temples, and quiet alleys that preserve the atmosphere of old Guizhou.

Qingyan is not only about history — it is also a great place to experience local flavors. Take your time exploring small shops and tasting famous local snacks, including Qingyan pig feet, rose sugar, and traditional tofu dishes. Our team knows the best areas for photos and the most interesting corners of the town, allowing you to enjoy Qingyan beyond a quick sightseeing stop.

After visiting Qingyan Ancient Town, continue your private transfer toward Fanjingshan. The drive is approximately 340 km and takes around 4.5 hours. Although it is a longer transfer, the journey itself is part of the experience. You will pass through Guizhou's mountainous countryside, with forests, valleys, and traditional villages appearing along the way.

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the entrance of Fanjingshan Scenic Area. Today you will explore one of Guizhou's most iconic natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Fanjingshan National Nature Preserve is famous for its unusual rock formations, ancient Buddhist temples, and peaceful mountain atmosphere. Often surrounded by mist and clouds, the mountain feels like a place where nature and spirituality come together.

Begin your journey with the scenic area sightseeing bus, followed by a cable car ride that takes you through the forest-covered slopes toward the upper mountain area. As the altitude increases, the scenery gradually changes. Dense forests give way to dramatic cliffs, rocky peaks, and breathtaking views across the surrounding mountains.

Your first stop is Mushroom Stone, the famous rock formation that has become the symbol of Mount Fanjing. The naturally balanced stone has stood here for millions of years and is one of the most photographed landmarks in Guizhou.

Continue hiking toward the Old Golden Summit and Red Clouds Golden Summit, two spectacular peaks connected by narrow paths and steep stone steps. Standing on the Red Clouds Golden Summit, surrounded by clouds and endless mountain views, is one of the most unforgettable moments of the trip. The scenery changes constantly with the weather — sometimes revealing distant peaks, sometimes creating a mysterious sea of clouds.

After exploring the mountain highlights, visit Chengen Temple, an ancient Buddhist temple that reflects the spiritual importance of Fanjingshan.

Later, descend the mountain and transfer by private car to Tongren Downtown. After a rewarding day of hiking, enjoy a comfortable evening at your hotel.
