Day 1 Arrive in Xi'an, transfer to the hotel by our driver, free & easy

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

Welcome to Xi'an, one of China's most fascinating historical cities! Upon your arrival at Xi'an Airport or train station, your private guide and driver will be waiting for you at the exit with a welcome sign. Instead of worrying about transportation, luggage, or finding a taxi, you can simply relax and enjoy the first impression of this ancient city.

During the drive to your hotel, your guide will give you a brief introduction to Xi'an — the starting point of the ancient Silk Road and the city that served as the capital for 13 dynasties. You'll learn why Xi'an became a cultural bridge connecting China with Central Asia and why its Muslim heritage has remained an important part of the city for more than a thousand years.

After hotel check-in, you'll have free time to settle in or explore the nearby streets at your own pace. If you arrive earlier and would like recommendations for halal restaurants, local markets, or evening activities, your guide will be happy to share personal suggestions based on your interests.

Day 2 Xi'an: Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda & Tang Dynasty Cultural Experience

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide and driver will pick you up for a full day exploring Xi'an's most iconic historical treasures.

Your first stop is the world-famous Terracotta Warriors, located about 40 minutes outside downtown Xi'an. As you walk into the excavation pits, you'll see thousands of life-sized clay soldiers standing silently underground, each with different facial expressions, hairstyles, and armor details. Your guide will help you understand not only the story of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's massive underground army but also the incredible craftsmanship and technology behind this 2,000-year-old masterpiece. Instead of rushing through the museum, we arrange enough time for you to explore the three main pits at a comfortable pace. Your guide will also point out details that many visitors miss, such as the differences between generals, infantry soldiers, and cavalry units.

After the visit, we'll continue to a local halal restaurant for lunch. Your guide will recommend authentic Xi'an Muslim dishes so you can enjoy local flavors while respecting your dietary preferences.

After lunch, we return to the city center and visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of Xi'an's most recognizable landmarks. Built during the Tang Dynasty, this ancient Buddhist pagoda was once a key destination along the Silk Road for translating and preserving Buddhist scriptures brought from India. Standing in front of this elegant structure, you can feel the atmosphere of ancient Chang'an — a city where merchants, monks, and travelers from different regions gathered together. Your guide will share stories about the Tang Dynasty's international connections and help you understand why Xi'an was once considered one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Take your time walking around the peaceful square, where traditional architecture blends beautifully with modern city scenery.

In the evening, we'll take you to enjoy a special Tang Dynasty cultural experience. Before the performance begins, you'll enjoy Xi'an's famous dumpling banquet, featuring beautifully shaped dumplings with different fillings and designs. This is more than just dinner — it is a chance to experience local food culture in a traditional setting. After dinner, sit back and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show, featuring elegant costumes, traditional music, and graceful dances inspired by the golden age of ancient China. Through the performance, you'll get a glimpse of the prosperity and artistic achievements of the Tang Dynasty.

After the show, your driver will transfer you safely back to your hotel.

Day 3 Xi'an: Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim Quarter, Great Mosque & City Wall, Departure

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and help you check out with your luggage. Before leaving Xi'an, we'll spend the last day exploring some of the city's most charming historical corners — from ancient pagodas and imperial landmarks to the vibrant streets where Chinese and Islamic cultures have blended for centuries. Your luggage will be safely stored in the vehicle, so you can enjoy your final sightseeing time without any extra hassle.

Our first stop is the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a hidden gem from the Tang Dynasty and one of Xi'an's quieter historical landmarks. Compared with the famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda, this area feels more peaceful and less crowded. Walking through the ancient temple grounds surrounded by old trees, you'll experience a slower side of Xi'an — a place where history feels closer and more personal. Your guide will share stories about how this pagoda was built during the Tang Dynasty and its connection with the spread of Buddhist culture along the ancient Silk Road. The elegant architecture and calm atmosphere also make it a wonderful place to take photos and enjoy a relaxing morning.

From the peaceful pagoda, we continue to the center of Xi'an's old city — Bell and Drum Tower Square. Standing in this historic area, you'll see two of Xi'an's most iconic landmarks: the Bell Tower, which once announced the beginning of each day, and the Drum Tower, which marked the end of the day in ancient times. Your guide will explain how these structures played an important role in organizing life during imperial China. The square is also a great place to appreciate the unique layout of Xi'an, where ancient architecture stands alongside modern city streets. Take some time to walk around, capture photos, and feel the atmosphere of the old capital before we continue to the cultural highlight of today.

Next, we'll walk into the famous Muslim Quarter, one of Xi'an's most lively and culturally rich neighborhoods. This historic area has been connected with the Silk Road for centuries, where merchants, travelers, and communities from different regions gathered. Today, it remains the best place to experience Xi'an's Muslim culture, traditional halal cuisine, and everyday local life. With your guide leading the way, you'll explore the narrow streets filled with food stalls, traditional shops, and old courtyard houses. We'll help you discover authentic local flavors and introduce the stories behind famous Xi'an Muslim dishes — not just showing you what to eat, but explaining the culture behind the food.

After exploring the market streets, we'll enjoy lunch at a carefully selected halal restaurant, allowing you to experience Xi'an cuisine in a comfortable and authentic setting.

After lunch, we'll continue deeper into the Muslim Quarter to visit the Great Mosque of Xi'an, one of the oldest and most important mosques in China. Unlike mosques in many other parts of the world, Xi'an Great Mosque beautifully combines Islamic traditions with traditional Chinese architectural styles. As you walk through its peaceful courtyards, you'll notice Chinese-style pavilions, wooden structures, and Islamic inscriptions existing together in harmony. Your guide will explain how Islam arrived in China through the ancient Silk Road and how Xi'an became an important meeting point between Chinese civilization and cultures from Central and Western Asia. This visit offers a deeper understanding of Xi'an's diversity and the cultural exchanges that shaped the city over thousands of years.

Our final stop is the magnificent Xi'an Ancient City Wall, the perfect place to end your journey. Built during the Ming Dynasty and one of the best-preserved city walls in China, this massive structure offers a unique view of Xi'an. Standing on top of the wall, you can look across the ancient city streets and see how the old capital continues to grow around its historic foundations. Your guide will share interesting stories about the city's defense system and help you find the best viewpoints for photos.

After the visit, your private driver will transfer you to Xi'an Airport or train station according to your departure schedule. We'll assist with your luggage and make sure your journey home or to your next destination is smooth and comfortable.

Much more fun than I expected

I booked this mostly because my husband is obsessed with anything involving AI, but I ended up enjoying it just as much. The driverless taxi was the biggest surprise — sitting inside and watching the car make its own decisions felt a little strange at first! The robot dog was also hilarious. Our guide explained things without making it feel like a technology lecture, which I really appreciated.

Thanks, Eamon! We love hearing that the tour surprised you in the best way. The driverless taxi can feel a little odd at first, but once you settle in, it's a pretty memorable experience. Glad you both had fun exploring Shenzhen's tech side!

The trains made the route surprisingly easy

I had never traveled around China by high-speed train before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Once we got the hang of it, it was actually one of the easiest parts of the trip. Having someone meet us at the stations was especially helpful because some of the stations are enormous. We could just get off the train, find our driver and move on.

Thanks, Marlowe! Glad to hear our train journeys turned out to be easier than expected. Those big stations can definitely feel a bit overwhelming at first, so it's great to hear that having our driver there made things smoother. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the trip!

A Photographer's Kind of Day

If you like old architecture, bring a camera. Badaguan was probably my favorite part because every street seemed to have a slightly different look. The church and railway station were also great photo stops. I liked that the tour wasn't only about famous sights — there was plenty of time to notice small details along the way.

Thanks, Soren! We're delighted that the architectural side of Qingdao caught your eye. The city has so many small details that are easy to miss when you're in a hurry.

Definitely earned its reputation

I knew Mount Tai would be the big highlight for me, but it was still better than expected. The views kept changing as we went higher, and there was something really special about seeing the old temples and inscriptions along the mountain. The whole trip was also very well organized. We had enough time at each place without feeling like we were constantly watching the clock.
