Meal: Great Wall Adventure
Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Beijing in the morning and take you to Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and best-preserved section of the Great Wall near Beijing. Once you arrive, begin your walk along the ancient fortifications while taking in sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. Your guide will introduce the history of Badaling Great Wall, explain its military importance, and share stories about the people and dynasties connected with this remarkable structure. Take your time exploring the wall, enjoying the scenery and photography opportunities along the way. Badaling features well-preserved watchtowers, impressive stone fortifications, and scenic mountain views. Depending on your fitness level and interests, your guide can help adjust the walking route. Optional cable car or pulley services may also be available at your own expense.
Canaan Winery Experience
Leave the mountains behind and continue through the countryside toward Canaan Winery, where you will discover a different side of modern China. Upon arrival, take a leisurely walk through the vineyard and learn about the region's grape-growing conditions. Your guide or winery staff will introduce the winemaking process, from vineyard management and grape harvesting to fermentation, aging, and bottling. The experience continues with a guided tasting of selected Canaan wines. Learn how to appreciate the appearance, aroma, flavor, and finish of different wines while discovering how China's wine industry has developed in recent years. Rather than simply visiting a winery shop, this experience gives you an opportunity to understand the connection between the local landscape, grape cultivation, and Chinese winemaking.
Return to Beijing
After the winery experience, relax in your private vehicle as you travel back to Beijing. Your guide can drop you off at your hotel or another convenient location in the city, bringing your Great Wall and winery adventure to an end.
