Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private guide and begin exploring Shanghai's most iconic sights.

Your first stop is Yu Garden, a beautiful classical Chinese garden hidden inside the lively Old City. Walking through its delicate pavilions, rockeries, ponds, and traditional corridors, you'll discover a completely different side of Shanghai away from the modern skyline.

Next, you'll explore the nearby City God Temple area, where traditional architecture, local snacks, and small shops create a lively atmosphere. Your guide will help you understand the stories behind this historic neighborhood rather than simply showing you the sights.

For lunch, we'll arrange a local restaurant where you can try authentic Shanghai flavors. From delicate soup dumplings (xiaolongbao) to traditional dishes influenced by Jiangnan cuisine, your guide can recommend options based on your preferences.

In the afternoon, continue to the French Concession, Shanghai's most charming historic district. Walking beneath old plane trees and past European-style villas, you'll experience the relaxed lifestyle that makes this area special.

End your day at the Bund, Shanghai's postcard view. Standing beside the Huangpu River, you'll see the dramatic contrast between historic colonial buildings and the futuristic skyline of Pudong. Your guide will help you choose the best photo spots and timing, especially around sunset when Shanghai becomes truly magical.

Day 3 | Shanghai → Hangzhou by High-Speed Train: Hangzhou West Lake & Lingyin Temple Exploration

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you comfortably to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. With our assistance, you won't need to worry about ticket collection, station navigation, or finding the correct platform. China's high-speed trains are modern and efficient, and we'll make sure your journey to Hangzhou is smooth.

The train ride takes around one hour, giving you a chance to relax and watch the scenery gradually change from Shanghai's urban landscape to the peaceful countryside of Zhejiang Province.

Upon arrival in Hangzhou, your local guide and driver will meet you at the station. Your first experience is West Lake, the symbol of Hangzhou and one of China's most beautiful cultural landscapes. Instead of rushing through viewpoints, we'll design a relaxed route combining walking, sightseeing, and local stories. You'll visit classic spots such as Broken Bridge, Bai Causeway, and lakeside viewpoints where mountains, water, and traditional architecture blend together.

After lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant, continue to Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak. Surrounded by forests and mountains, this ancient Buddhist temple offers a peaceful atmosphere that feels far removed from modern city life. Your guide will introduce the history, Buddhist culture, and hidden details behind the stone carvings, helping you appreciate the place beyond just taking photos.

In the evening, return to your hotel and enjoy Hangzhou's calm atmosphere.

Day 4 | Hangzhou: Longjing Tea Village & Xixi Wetland

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

Today is designed to let you experience the slower and more elegant side of Hangzhou.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you into the countryside around West Lake. Your morning begins at Longjing Tea Village, one of China's most famous tea-producing areas. Unlike a typical sightseeing stop, we'll take you deeper into the tea fields where you can see how local farmers maintain the traditional tea-making lifestyle. Sitting inside a small tea house surrounded by green hills, you'll have the chance to taste authentic Longjing tea while learning about Chinese tea culture from your local guide.

For lunch, enjoy a local Hangzhou-style meal featuring seasonal ingredients. Many traditional dishes here reflect the city's philosophy of using fresh and simple flavors.

In the afternoon, continue exploring another side of Hangzhou. Depending on the season and your interests, we can arrange visits to places such as Xixi Wetland, Hefang Street, or other local areas that match your travel style. Rather than filling your day with too many attractions, we leave enough time for you to enjoy the atmosphere — whether it's walking beside quiet waterways, discovering old streets, or simply enjoying the scenery.

After the tour, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 5 | Hangzhou → Qiandao Lake: Thousand Island Lake Scenic Area & Lakeside Experience

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After breakfast, your private driver will pick you up from your Hangzhou hotel and take you to Qiandao Lake (Thousand Island Lake), one of Zhejiang's most scenic natural destinations.

Leaving behind the elegant atmosphere of Hangzhou, the landscape gradually changes from the city's lakeside scenery to rolling hills, bamboo forests, and quiet countryside roads. The journey takes around 2–3 hours, and with a private vehicle arranged for the day, you can simply sit back, enjoy the views, and travel at a comfortable pace. Known as the "emerald lake of a thousand islands," Qiandao Lake is famous for its crystal-clear water, lush green islands, and peaceful mountain surroundings. Unlike crowded city attractions, the charm of Qiandao Lake lies in its slower rhythm — here, the best moments often come from simply enjoying the scenery, feeling the breeze from the lake, and watching the islands disappear into the mist.

Upon arrival, your guide will help you explore the lake in the most suitable way based on your interests and travel pace. You can take a scenic boat cruise through the lake area, where you'll pass clusters of islands with different shapes and stories, or visit viewpoints that offer panoramic views of the endless blue water and surrounding mountains.

During the cruise, your guide will share fascinating stories about Qiandao Lake, including how this vast lake was created and how more than a thousand mountain peaks became islands after the area was transformed into a reservoir. This background makes the scenery much more meaningful than simply taking photos.

For lunch, we'll arrange a local restaurant near the lake where you can enjoy authentic Qiandao Lake cuisine. The most famous dish here is the fresh organic fish from the lake, usually prepared in a simple way to highlight its natural flavor. Along with seasonal vegetables and local specialties, it offers a true taste of the region.

In the afternoon, continue exploring the quieter side of Qiandao Lake. Depending on the season and your interests, we can arrange a relaxed lakeside walk, a scenic viewpoint stop, or a visit to nearby countryside areas where you can experience the peaceful lifestyle of Zhejiang's mountain villages.

Rather than rushing through too many attractions, we leave enough time for you to appreciate the natural beauty of this hidden corner of eastern China. After the tour, your driver will take you back to Hangzhou, where you can relax at your hotel and prepare for the next exciting chapter — Huangshan Mountain.

Day 6 | Hangzhou → Huangshan by High-Speed Train: Huangshan Scenic Area

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After breakfast, your private driver will pick you up from your Hangzhou hotel and transfer you to Hangzhou East Railway Station for your high-speed train journey to Huangshan. Unlike a long road transfer, taking China's modern high-speed train allows you to travel between these two beautiful destinations comfortably and efficiently. Our team will assist you with the station transfer, ticket arrangements, and boarding guidance, so you don't need to worry about navigating the busy railway station or handling transportation details on your own.

The train journey takes around 1.5–2 hours, and along the way, you'll see the scenery gradually transform from Hangzhou's gentle countryside into the mountainous landscapes of southern Anhui. Green hills, forests, and traditional villages along the route offer a beautiful introduction to the Huangshan region.

Upon arrival at Huangshan North Railway Station, your local driver will meet you and transfer you to Huangshan Scenic Area. Before entering the mountain, we'll help you prepare everything needed for the ascent, including attraction tickets, cable car arrangements, and luggage organization.

After taking the cable car up the mountain, you'll begin exploring the legendary landscapes of Huangshan. Famous for its unique granite peaks, ancient pine trees, and ever-changing sea of clouds, Huangshan is often considered one of China's most spectacular natural wonders. Your guide will lead you along carefully selected walking routes based on your interests and physical condition. Instead of rushing through every viewpoint, we focus on the most impressive sections of the mountain, allowing you to truly appreciate the scenery and take your time capturing unforgettable photos.

As the afternoon light changes, the mountains become even more dramatic. The mist drifting between the peaks and the golden sunlight shining across the cliffs create the kind of scenery that has inspired Chinese painters and poets for centuries.

Today's special highlight is your overnight stay on Huangshan Mountain. Staying inside the scenic area means you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere after most visitors have descended, and you'll be perfectly positioned for the next morning's sunrise experience. Your guide will also provide suggestions for the best sunrise viewing spots depending on the weather conditions.

After checking into your mountain-top hotel, enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by nature and prepare for one of the most memorable moments of your China journey.

Day 7 | Huangshan → Suzhou by High-Speed Train: Huangshan Sunrise, Tunxi Old Street

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

Wake up early today for one of the most unforgettable experiences of your Huangshan journey — watching the sunrise above the sea of clouds. Staying overnight on Huangshan Mountain gives you a special advantage: while many visitors are still traveling up from the foot of the mountain, you are already surrounded by the peaceful morning atmosphere of the peaks. Your guide will check the weather conditions and recommend the best sunrise viewing location based on visibility, helping you make the most of this magical moment.

As the first sunlight appears, the granite peaks, ancient pine trees, and layers of mountains slowly emerge from the mist. The constantly changing clouds create a breathtaking landscape that has inspired Chinese artists and poets for centuries. Take your time to enjoy the scenery, capture photos, and simply experience the quiet beauty of Huangshan in the early morning.

After sunrise, return to your hotel for breakfast before continuing your exploration of the mountain. Depending on your energy level and weather conditions, your guide will arrange a suitable walking route to experience more of Huangshan's highlights, such as unique rock formations, famous pine trees, and panoramic viewpoints. Rather than trying to cover every corner of the mountain, we focus on the most rewarding areas and keep the pace comfortable. This allows you to appreciate the landscape without feeling rushed, especially after an early sunrise start.

Around midday, descend from Huangshan Mountain by cable car. Your private driver will then take you to Tunxi Old Street, the historic heart of Huangshan City.

For lunch, enjoy authentic Huizhou cuisine at a local restaurant near the old street. Known for its traditional cooking methods and distinctive flavors, Huizhou cuisine offers a completely different taste experience from the lighter dishes of Hangzhou and Suzhou.

After lunch, take a relaxed walk along Tunxi Old Street, one of the best-preserved ancient streets in Anhui. With its traditional Huizhou-style buildings, wooden storefronts, tea shops, ink stores, and local snacks, the street offers a glimpse into the region's prosperous merchant history. Your guide will introduce the stories behind this historic trading route and help you discover local specialties, from Huangshan tea to traditional handicrafts. If you're interested, this is also a great place to pick up meaningful souvenirs with local character.

In the afternoon, your driver will transfer you to Huangshan North Railway Station for your high-speed train journey to Suzhou.

After arriving at Suzhou Railway Station, your local driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The atmosphere changes dramatically from Huangshan's majestic mountains to Suzhou's elegant waterways and classical gardens, preparing you for the next chapter of your Jiangnan experience.

Day 8 | Suzhou: Humble Administrator's Garden, Pingjiang Road, Tongli Water Town

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private guide and begin exploring Suzhou, a city where classical gardens, ancient canals, and traditional lifestyles have been beautifully preserved for centuries. Known as one of China's most elegant cultural cities, Suzhou offers a completely different atmosphere from Shanghai's modern energy and Huangshan's dramatic landscapes. Today, you'll slow down and discover the charm of Jiangnan culture — the refined lifestyle shaped by gardens, waterways, art, and traditional craftsmanship.

Your first stop is Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest and one of the most famous classical gardens in Suzhou. As you walk through the garden, your guide will help you understand the philosophy behind traditional Chinese garden design. Every element — from winding paths and peaceful ponds to carefully placed rocks, bridges, and pavilions — was created to form a harmonious relationship between architecture and nature. Instead of simply visiting the most photographed areas, we'll take time to explore different corners of the garden and discover the hidden details that make it unique, such as how each viewing angle creates a different "painting" and how ancient scholars used gardens as places for relaxation and inspiration.

After the garden visit, continue to Pingjiang Road Historic District, one of Suzhou's most atmospheric old neighborhoods. Walking along this ancient street, you'll see traditional white-walled houses beside quiet canals, small stone bridges crossing the waterways, and local shops blending naturally into the historic surroundings. This is where you can truly experience the slower rhythm of Suzhou life — locals chatting by the river, small boats passing through canals, and traditional architecture preserved alongside modern cafés.

For lunch, we'll arrange a local Suzhou restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Jiangnan cuisine. Compared with the stronger flavors of Anhui cuisine, Suzhou dishes are known for their delicate taste, seasonal ingredients, and elegant presentation. Your guide can recommend dishes based on your preferences and dietary needs.

In the afternoon, leave the city behind and head to Tongli Water Town, one of the most charming ancient water towns around Suzhou. Often described as a "living museum of Jiangnan," Tongli is famous for its network of canals, stone bridges, and well-preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty residences. Unlike simply walking through a historic street, exploring Tongli allows you to experience the unique lifestyle created around water — where canals once served as both transportation routes and the center of daily life. Your guide will take you through the quieter lanes and introduce the stories behind the old residences, traditional bridges, and local customs. If time allows, you can also enjoy a relaxing walk along the waterways and capture beautiful photos of this peaceful village scenery.

After the tour, your private driver will transfer you back to your Suzhou hotel.

Day 9 | Shanghai: Shanghai Museum, People's Square, Xintiandi & Tianzifang

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After breakfast, check out from your Suzhou hotel and begin your journey back to Shanghai. Instead of taking another train with luggage transfers, we arrange a private vehicle from Suzhou to Shanghai, allowing you to travel comfortably and make the most of your final days in the city. The drive takes around 1.5–2 hours, and your driver will take care of your luggage and hotel transfer, so you can enjoy a smooth transition from the peaceful Jiangnan atmosphere of Suzhou back to Shanghai's urban energy.

Upon arrival in Shanghai, continue discovering a different side of the city — one that goes beyond the famous landmarks and reveals the history, culture, and everyday lifestyle of modern Shanghai.

Your first stop is People's Square, located at the heart of Shanghai. Once a former racecourse, this area has transformed into the city's cultural center, surrounded by important landmarks, museums, and green spaces. Visit the Shanghai Museum, one of China's most renowned museums. Through its extensive collections of ancient Chinese bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, and traditional artworks, you'll gain a deeper understanding of China's history and artistic traditions. Your guide will help you focus on the most meaningful exhibits and explain the stories behind the collections, making the visit more engaging than simply walking through galleries.

For lunch, enjoy a local Shanghai meal at a carefully selected restaurant. Your guide can introduce classic Shanghai flavors, from delicate soup dumplings and traditional noodles to seasonal dishes that reflect the city's Jiangnan roots.

In the afternoon, explore Xintiandi, one of Shanghai's most unique neighborhoods where historic Shikumen architecture meets modern urban lifestyle. Walking through the preserved stone-gate houses, you'll discover how old Shanghai homes have been transformed into stylish cafés, boutiques, and restaurants while still keeping their original character. It is a perfect place to experience the city's blend of tradition and modernity.

Continue to Tianzifang, a creative neighborhood hidden inside traditional alleyways. Unlike Shanghai's large shopping malls and skyscrapers, Tianzifang offers a more intimate view of local life, with small studios, handmade crafts, art shops, and residential lanes where old and new Shanghai exist side by side.

After the tour, your private driver will transfer you to your Shanghai hotel. Take the evening to relax and prepare for tomorrow's exciting Disneyland experience.

Day 10 | Shanghai: Shanghai Disneyland Full-Day Magical Experience

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After breakfast, get ready for a fun-filled day at Shanghai Disneyland, one of the most popular family attractions in China and a place where classic Disney magic meets unique Chinese design elements.

Your private driver will pick you up from your Shanghai hotel and transfer you comfortably to the park. Since Disneyland can be a full-day experience with many attractions, our team will help you prepare in advance with practical suggestions, including the best arrival time, attraction priorities, dining options, and tips for making the most of your visit. Unlike visiting the park without a plan and spending much of your day waiting in lines, we help you create a smoother route based on your interests — whether you are traveling with children, looking for exciting rides, or simply want to enjoy the shows and atmosphere at a relaxed pace.

Upon entering Shanghai Disneyland, you'll discover seven themed lands filled with immersive experiences, entertainment, and attractions designed for different ages. From classic Disney favorites to attractions created especially for the Shanghai park, the experience combines familiar magic with local cultural touches.

For families, attractions such as TRON Lightcycle Power Run, Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure, and Zootopia: Hot Pursuit offer unforgettable experiences. Younger visitors can enjoy meeting beloved Disney characters, colorful performances, and interactive activities throughout the park.

During the day, take time to enjoy the details that make Shanghai Disneyland unique — the impressive castle, themed streets, creative architecture, and carefully designed scenery that bring each area to life.

For lunch, you can choose from various restaurants and food options inside the park. Our team can provide recommendations on convenient dining locations and help you avoid spending too much time searching for meals during this busy day.

As evening arrives, stay for the spectacular nighttime entertainment. The combination of music, lights, projections, and fireworks creates a memorable finale and is one of the highlights of the Disneyland experience.

After the park closes, your private driver will meet you at the agreed pickup point and transfer you safely back to your hotel, allowing you to relax after an exciting day.

Day 11 | Shanghai: Free Day for Local Experiences, Shopping & Personalized Exploration

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

After several days of exploring China's most iconic destinations, today is intentionally designed as a more flexible day, giving you the freedom to experience Shanghai at your own pace.

There is no fixed schedule or early departure today. After enjoying a relaxed breakfast at your hotel, you can decide how you would like to spend your final full day in China. Whether you want to revisit a favorite neighborhood, discover hidden corners of the city, shop for souvenirs, or simply slow down and enjoy local life, our team is always available to provide recommendations and assistance.

For those who want to continue exploring Shanghai's culture, we can recommend experiences based on your interests.

If you enjoy history and architecture, you may explore areas such as Jing'an Temple, one of Shanghai's most famous Buddhist temples surrounded by modern skyscrapers, or visit quieter historic neighborhoods where traditional Shanghai houses and local communities are still preserved.

For travelers interested in shopping, Shanghai offers a wide range of options — from international brands and modern shopping malls to local markets and specialty stores. Our team can suggest suitable places depending on whether you are looking for fashion, souvenirs, tea, silk products, or unique local gifts.

If you prefer a slower and more authentic experience, we recommend spending time like a local. Enjoy a cup of coffee in a hidden café, walk through peaceful residential lanes, visit a neighborhood market, or try restaurants loved by locals rather than only famous tourist spots.

For lunch, you can choose a restaurant based on your personal preference. Whether you want to try more Shanghai specialties, enjoy international cuisine, or have a final memorable meal before departure, we can provide recommendations and help with reservations if needed.

Although today is a free day, you are not traveling alone. Our team remains available throughout the day to provide suggestions, arrange optional transportation, and assist with any practical needs, ensuring your final day in Shanghai is comfortable and worry-free.

In the evening, return to your hotel and prepare for your departure the following day.

A Fascinating Glimpse into Shenzhen's Future with an Excellent Guide

We had a fantastic day exploring Shenzhen's technology scene, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to China.

Everything was very well organized, from the hotel pickup to the comfortable private vehicle. What we appreciated most was that the day never felt rushed. Our guide gave us plenty of time to experience each activity and was always happy to explain how the technology worked.

The driverless taxi was definitely a highlight. Sitting inside and watching the car navigate the city without a driver was both fascinating and slightly surreal! We also really enjoyed the hands-on robot experiences, especially trying the exoskeleton and interacting with the robot dog. Seeing a delivery drone actually arrive with food made the whole experience feel even more futuristic.

Our guide was wonderful throughout the day—knowledgeable, friendly, and with excellent English. She made the technology easy to understand without turning the tour into a technical lecture.

If you're looking for something beyond Shenzhen's usual sightseeing spots, we highly recommend this tour. It's a fun and very different way to experience how technology is shaping everyday life in the city.

The trains made the route surprisingly easy

We have just finished our 21-day trip through China, and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. We saw so many different sides of the country — the pandas and relaxed atmosphere in Chengdu, the history of Xi'an, the energy of Chongqing, the incredible mountains in Zhangjiajie, and then the beautiful landscapes around Guilin and Yangshuo.

What made the trip much easier was the support from our guides and drivers in each destination. They were always on time, helpful with our luggage and transportation, and happy to answer questions. The drivers were particularly good at navigating busy city traffic and mountain roads, and we always felt safe in the cars.

The high-speed trains were comfortable, and having someone meet us at the stations took away a lot of the stress of traveling between cities. It was a long trip, but the pace worked well for us. There were busy sightseeing days, followed by some slower time to relax and explore on our own.

By the end, we were tired but very happy. China is much more diverse than we expected, and this trip gave us a wonderful introduction to it.

A Lovely Walk Through Old Qingdao

We had a very warm day for our tour, but everything was arranged so smoothly that the weather didn't cause any problems. Our guide, Elodie, was friendly and knew a lot about Qingdao's history. She gave us some background before each stop, which made the old buildings much more interesting instead of just looking at them from the outside.

Our driver was also excellent. He handled the city traffic confidently and we felt very comfortable throughout the day. The route was well planned, with enough time to walk around Badaguan, explore the Governor's House, and visit St. Michael's Church.

I especially liked Badaguan because of the old villas and tree-lined streets. It feels quite different from the busier parts of Qingdao. Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable way to discover the city's architectural heritage in a single day.

A Wonderful Introduction to Shandong's History and Culture

My wife and I have travelled to China several times, but this was our first time visiting Shandong. We wanted to see more than the usual big cities, and this three-day journey through Jinan, Qufu and Mount Tai turned out to be an excellent choice.

What I enjoyed most was the variety of the trip. Jinan has such a relaxed atmosphere, especially around the springs and old streets. It was fascinating to see how the spring water is still part of everyday life rather than simply something preserved for tourists. The city felt very different from Beijing or Shanghai, and we were glad to have included it.

Qufu gave us a completely different experience. I have always been interested in Chinese history and philosophy, so visiting the hometown of Confucius was particularly meaningful. The historic sites are impressive, but having someone explain the background and traditions made them much easier to appreciate. Without that context, I think we would have missed many of the details.

Mount Tai was the real finale of the trip. We knew there would be quite a bit of walking, but the combination of mountain scenery, ancient inscriptions and historic temples made the effort worthwhile. The views changed constantly as we went higher, and the atmosphere near the top was something I will remember for a long time.

I would also like to mention how smoothly everything was organized. Our driver was punctual, the car was comfortable, and all the transfers between cities were handled without any stress. After a full day of sightseeing, it was particularly nice to simply get into the car and know that everything had already been taken care of.

Our travel consultant was also extremely helpful during the planning stage. We had quite a few questions about the route, transportation and how much time we should allow for Mount Tai, and every question was answered patiently. The itinerary felt well balanced rather than rushed, which is important to us as we prefer to actually enjoy a place instead of simply collecting photographs.

This trip gave us a very different perspective on China. Jinan showed us the everyday charm of a city built around its springs, Qufu introduced us to one of the most influential figures in Chinese history, and Mount Tai brought together nature, religion and centuries of tradition.

For anyone interested in Chinese history and culture, I would certainly recommend spending a few days exploring this part of Shandong. It was a memorable journey, and one that felt very different from our previous trips to China.
